In this endeavor, Mike Ideas, a long-term collaborator with Pop Design since its inception in 2016, played a vital role. Mike Ideas was entrusted with designing the brand identity, product photography, packaging, web development, Amazon listings, and copywriting for all of Pop Design’s products. The collaboration took a significant step forward with the launch of the Kindle Oasis & Pop Design Headphone Bundle, marking the vendor’s first product launch partnership with Amazon directly.

Challenge: Meeting Amazon’s Standards and Specifications

To ensure success in the Amazon marketplace, the collaboration between Mike Ideas and Pop Design faced the challenge of meeting the myriad standards and specifications set by Amazon. With the objective of captivating potential customers, the collaboration between Mike Ideas and Pop Design faced the challenge of creating an Amazon image gallery that effectively showcased the product bundle. To address this challenge, the Mike Ideas team produced lifestyle photography for the Amazon image gallery. The choice of the geometrically circular typeface Poppins by Indian Type Foundries for headlines, subheadings, and callout text echoed the Kindle’s ideology of a “distraction-free” reading experience.
